Periods serve for displaying tasks within the required time interval. «Time interval» can be of one of the following three types: strict, floating and mixed. The strict type provides for constant and unchangeable terms. For example: the period from the 1st of January, 2007 to the 31st of December, 2007 is set. If this time interval is selected, then the period for the whole year of 2007 will always be displayed.
The floating type has the starting date that is the "current day" and the ending date is set for the number of the days you want to view.
For example: the «Next 7 Days» interval starts from today and ends in seven days.
The mixed type has certain time frames that include the covered period which in its turn can "slide" inside them.
For example: the «This Week» interval covers today as well as all days from the beginning of the current week till its end.
