Server Configuration and Operation
General information.

For the employees to be able to work, the server must be available either over the LAN or the Internet.

The IP address of the server must be specified on each employee's computer. The administrator should activate the employee for the employee to be able to work normally. Read more about employee activation.

Activated employees can work when the server is off (offline mode). After the server is switched on, the necessary data will be synchronized automatically.

The main window of the server has 4 tabs: Users, Tasks, Chat, Notifications.
 
LeaderTask Server

 
Users.
The "Users" tab shows all LeaderTask clients, i.e. employees. The same tab shows the employee's name, IP address and status (online or offline). For employees to be shown in this list, you should specify the IP address and port of the server in the employee settings. The server address is displayed at the bottom of the server window (this list contain all IP addresses of the computer where the server is installed)

You can use the F5 key to refresh the user list.

Tasks, Chat, Notifications
 
The "Tasks", "Chat", "Notifications" tabs are used to log everything going on on the server. The following data is logged:
- Messages sent between users
- Changes in tasks: statuses, names, dates
- Date and time when tasks are given
