LeaderTask Company Management enables to organize tasks into convenient tree-type structures (task decomposition)

 

 

The task tree has the following extra convenient features:

• Structural properties. To move tree elements (tasks/notes/links):

•           - Use hot keys: Ctrl+Arrow up/down/right/left
•           - Use buttons in the toolbar
•           - Drag the mouse

• Sorting by any field.
• Group operations with tasks.
• Quick task editing.
• Display of various task types (notes\links\tasks) in one tree.
• Filtering by any parameter.
• «Smart Columns» function support.
• Moving tasks between the hierarchy levels using hot keys.
• Overall management of tasks/notes/links using hot keys.

To select the displayed columns in the task tree click the right mouse button on the table headline. Then select the "Columns" item and specify the columns that should be displayed. To automatically change the displayed columns use the "Smart Columns" function.

Smart Columns

Smart Columns is a property of columns in a task tree to be displayed or hidden depending on whether there are values in this column or not. If a certain column is empty in all displayed tasks and at that the "Smart Columns" function is enabled then the column won’t be displayed. And vice versa if at least any task has this property the column will be displayed.

Task tree main features:

 

• Complete visibility. Complete control. Task tree displays just that very information you need right now.
• Sorting. Possibility to rank cases by any characteristics: important\unimportant, urgent\non-urgent, personal\business, at home\on business trip, today\tomorrow etc.
• Grouping. Exact set of tasks can be displayed by the following specified criteria: by project, by time, by category, by contractor. You can set several grouping criteria at the same time in any combinations!
• Task frequency. Task class that should be performed with a certain frequency is just enabled using the "Periodical Tasks" option.
• Individual customization. You can customize tree display according to your personal taste. Using the customization dialog box you can change text color\font, background color and task display style. Any task can be selected using usual features: bold, italics and underlined font as well as font coloring.
• Performed tasks. You can always hide or show performed tasks.
• Convenient work. The task tree supports all known and generally used key combinations.

In the new task the fields selected in «Navigator» and «Tabs» for the moment are filled in by default. Thus, you can firstly set the required filter values and then add a whole series of tasks. Projects, category, time range, contractor etc. selected for the moment will be automatically included into them.

The tasks can also be grouped by all these characteristics: categories, projects, time and contractors.

Task Coloring

The tasks have the color of set priority. To set the priority parameters (font and background colors) the priority library should be used.
